The beach is serene and has an amazing view of the Chicago skyline. The lake trail has a nice separate cycling path with pretty nature views. It's very calming to ride a bicycle or walk along the trail. The water is clean and the lake is great fun.

Always had a good time here. Taking a swim or just chilling out. Was always a good time. Seen and head some nice music on the weekends. Spent a summer in Chicago and would go here at least every 3 days or so. when the big boats would go by it would make some nice waves. So i had the chance to do some body surfing. the little kids went crazy over it. haha. fun times. beach shower was nice after being in the water and sand for sure. Watch out for spiders in the bathroom tho.

Beautiful landscape, and great views of the lakeshore and downtown high-rises. This is a great place to sit and relax and watch the water and Nature. The beach part is relatively small when compared to that at some other city beaches like North Avenue Beach or Rainbow Beach.

Great Beach with an excellent view! Located just north of the Harbor, this beach has a drop off steps from the sand. Newer facilities and a food service deck make this a must visit location!

One of my favorite spots. You can enjoy the view of downtown high-rise buildings. You can BBQ there.

No grills of any type welcomed and I'm grateful. This like most of the beach, is a beautifully constructed and well thought-out landscape. In addition to the restaurant, skate park, playground, and lush grounds this seating area is a gorgeous bonus for lake front visitors. #inspiring. It's an awesome space for meditation early in the morning, writing in the afternoon and a romantic walk in the evening.

Great beach. Has everything you would ask from a beach. Grass areas with lots of trees for shade. Paid parking, grass area and beach in close proximity so great for elderly. Also handicap access to the beach. Fast food restaurant, washrooms, outside shower and play area for kids with swings and slides. It connects to the lakefront trial. If you keep walking south you get to the basketball courts and skating area. Must visit.

It's a beautiful place to relax any time of the week. The 31st Street beach is a welcoming place to enjoy friends and family or a peaceful walk by yourself. It also houses Pier 31 which is a restaurant where you can listen to music, have a drink, or eat some delicious food.

Amazing park just a few minutes from downtown, from here you can have a very different perspective of Chicago's skyline. W e went during spring so was very empty but give you the calm that only the lake can offer :)
